5 LSAT scores - should I write addendum?

I have 5 LSAT scores on file all within the range of 154-159. Even though I PT'd at 165-171 each time, I fell short of my expectations with every administration. I really have no explanation for it, except that I fell ill during one of the administrations, but now I have 5 scores on my file. Should I still write an addendum, even though I have no explanation?

It would be difficult to write an addendum that would convince an adcomm your score should be something other than what your five existing scores say it is. You've taken the test five times; it probably is what it is.

"Despite scoring within a narrow range consistently on 5 administrations, I would like to fault illness for one of those scores. I sincerely hope that the committee will do the right thing and credit me for scoring somewhere in the 165-171 range on that test, seeing as how all of my practice tests were in that range, and I can only assume I would have performed similarly had it not been for illness. I trust that the committee will also consider this adjusted score the only relevant score for the purpose of my admission. Thank you."

I think it's safe to say you scored where you should have if you did it 5 times straight.
