Hello,
I have a 3.25 GPA and a 157 LSAT, non-URM. Some of my softs are that I am a CPA and worked for three years at a Big 4 accounting firm. I attended UCLA for undergrad with a major in econ and minor in accounting.
1. Can anyone let me know what my chances are at some of the chicago (loyola, kent, depaul, etc.) and los angeles (loyola marymount etc.) area schools?
2. If my LSAT is currently too low, please let me know what LSAT i would need to be considered at these schools.
3. Please recommend other law schools in these cities not listed in #1, where i would have a decent shot of getting into with my current numbers.
I appreciate any insight you can give. Thanks!

LA area schools:
Better shot at Loyola LA than at Pepperdine.
You would still be at/below 25% at both schools though.
Better shot at U San Diego than at Loyola.
Better shot at Loyola (Chicago) than at any of Usandiego/Loyola LA/pepperdine.
Better chance at Chicago Kent than Loyola Chicago.
DePaul is safest of all of those.

When u say "better shot" for the chicago schools, does that still mean a reach though or decent chance? i know my numbers are lower than their medians, but i'm wondering if my experience me gives a bump to the point where these schools wouldnt reaches. Maybe these schools put more weight on soft factors?

I honestly can't say how much softs matter.
Just blindly gambling I would say pretty decent shot at Kent.
But I am completely unfamiliar with chicago area schools so I have no idea.
Check out
http://www.lawschoolnumbers.com and look at the graphs from last year. See the trend of how many people with your scores they accept or reject.
If they accept 2/10 people with your scores then not a great shot, if it is 5/10 then a decent shot, if 5/7 then pretty good shot and so on..

OP you probably need at least a 160 to get into most of those schools. Soft factors won't overcome that LSAT. Retake.

Law School Predictor says you're a Consider at DePaul, a Weak Consider at the other Chicago schools, and a Deny at the LA schools. Just FYI.
