Is it worth the money?

So, I have an interview scheduled at NU for Monday the 8th, but at this point don't think its worth the $300 for flight since I only have a 167. I don't think a 2.79, 8 years WE, and a 167 will cut it for even ED. So I ask you, TLS, should I buy the plane tickets or cancel the interview?

Why the hell would you fly there? They do off-campus interviewing around the country. I had my NU interview with an alum an hour from my house. I live 1,000 miles from Chicago.

do it if they told you to go. You never know. Make sure they know how much trouble it was for you to visit. don't do it in an asshole way. Make it kinda a joke or something.
300 dollars is a small investment compared to how much NW will help you.
Apply to vandy. They love work experience too.

ED interviews are on-campus only, at least that's what the application said. Trust me, I'd rather interview in Boston.

If ED @ NU is your target, fly to the damn interview. If you score 175+ on the LSAT in Dec (a big IF, of course) and then decide you want NU it will be too late.
Of course if you aren't planning on retaking, then don't go. A 167/2.x will not get you into NU.

Definitely not worth the money unless you have a 170+, and a December retake is too late for ED.

If you come, bring a coat, it got really cold here over the past couple days.
