GPA: 3.45
LSAT: 170

I just improved my LSAT score, so now I'm unsure of where to apply. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Which region of the US do you want to live? East coast? West Coast? Deep south? Would you prefer a big city or small town?

If you don't really give a shit, just apply to all of top 10-20 with a few jabs at 5-9.

Thanks for the advice. The region doesn't matter to me. I just want T14. Do I have a legitimate shot at any of the 5-9?

I'm aware of the predictor; I just don't know how realistic it is...

Numbers are a huge part of the game. Softs can help, a bit. The predictor can give you some schools in the T14 to shoot for, then pick some regionals that sounds attractive.

You don't really have to use the predictor, you can do it manually. Stuff like this:

http://www.top-law-schools.com/rankings.html

has percentile ranges, or you can find medians, and go off those. The numbers are pretty important though.
