Going complete (LSAC vs. School)?

Post by GettingReady2010 » Wed Oct 27, 2010 9:17 pm

I noticed that many people are talking about schools emailing them saying that they are "complete." Does going complete at the school different from when LSAC says you're complete?

When an application is complete at LSAC, that just means they transmitted out your info. But for an application to go complete at the school, they have to have received everything, including any forms they need you to mail them, and that they've processed it.

Some schools get everything sent to them electronically and can mark applications complete the day you apply, but some schools get the LSAC information mailed to them physically which can take freaking forever.
