To Withdraw or Not to Withdraw Forum

I'm currently interning for academic credit but I have a lot of familial issues at the moment and I'm considering withdrawing and taking the W. I have never had one before and I wasnted to know how it would look to law schools.

Check to make sure it is a non punitive W first though bc some schools will count it as a F

You'll get away with a couple of withdraws. More than that you will have to justify. Still better than staying in the class and getting a low grade.

I disagree. As long as it's just a W and not a W/F, if you're seriously worried about the grade, you don't have any other Ws, and you're stressed because of the situation I think one or two Ws isn't going to hurt.
