So I'm trying to apply to Fordham Early Action. They do not require any letters of recommendation, but I'd like to send two. One has already been processed and ready to go, but the other was mailed last week and has not been processed. The due date for EA is tomorrow. I'm questioning if it'd be in my best interest to wait for this rec and not apply EA or just go ahead with one rec. Any advice would be great. Thanks in advance.

I suggest to just apply with one rec to meet the deadline. If the second one is coming soon, then I will update later.

If you are going to compulsively check, check your LSAC account not your email. It shows up on LSAC a few hours before the email goes out, or at least my first one did

I would submit EA with only one LOR, and then update them with another one when it comes in.

Well, I called Fordham today they told me I couldn't add a rec later.

Are you seriously considering forgoing EA just to wait for a second *optional* LOR?

All who submit by October 15 are Early Action applicants. It's not binding.
