I have some schools on my active application list, but when I click them, althought I see the "delete" box, it is not highlighted and I can't get them off my list.
Any tips?

If you have any documents attached you must delete them before you delete the app.

It does matter, during the app process I feel that there's a lot of stuff going on. At least having an organized/accurate list may help a bit.

Then you should delete them using the most efficient way possible: sing the delete song. Once lsac hears that beautiful melody flowing from your lips, it will quickly and automatically delete the applications and you won't have to worry about it again.

That sounds fabulous.

Will you teach me the "delete song"?
