So I was reviewing my LSAC Academic Summary Report, and the gpa it gave me was a 3.59. Due to my calculations I should have a 3.6. I'm pretty confident this is due to the fact that my school changed the value of a B+ from a 3.5 to a 3.33 in my Junior year when they added minus grades, and now a 3.5 grade I earned is being calculated below where it should be. What should I do to correct this? Thanks.

Even if at my school at the time it was basically an A/B? Could I pressure my school to send a new transcript testifying to that?? Because a 3.59 sucks compared to a 3.60.

I'm not sure what you mean. Your school never had a B+ until your junior year? Only A or B, no middle ground? Or, your school gave you a B+ which, for your school, was a 3.5 at the time you received it?

Also, the difference between a 3.59 and a 3.60 is not very significant.

LSAC can only calculate by your transcript. If your school records it as an AB, then you will get 3.5, since it records it as B+, then you get 3.33. If you can get your school to change it, by all means do it. But LSAC can't do anything unless you can get your school to change it, then you can send an updated transcript and have LSAC fix it.

Also LSAC doesn't seem to round up, so it may not make a different at the end. 3.599 is still a 3.59.

When my LSAC-calculated GPA wasn't what it should have been, I eventually had to go line by line through my transcript with an LSAC guy on the phone. Had we gotten to it, I would have listened to his math.

But it turns out four credits mysteriously were never on the transcript. Three of them belonged to a class that was somehow left off. I still don't know what was up with the other one.

I went back to my university, asked for a reprint, checked it over, and all of a sudden everything was fine. LSAC fixed my GPA a few days after that, then sent me a nice confirmation letter.

This is irrelevant. LSAC counts B+ = 3.33 and AB = 3.50 regardless of what your UG does. All they can do is go by what they see on the transcript, i.e. a B+. The only way you can get a 3.50 is if your UG changes the grade to an AB, which I highly doubt they can do.
