One of my LORs got mailed to LSAC 3.5 weeks ago and still hasn't shown up as processed. I asked my recommender to fax it and she did that yesterday afternoon. How long does it take for a faxed letter to be processed?

Mine were posted the day after my professors faxed them, but I think LSAC says it could take several days...

Mine were same or next day but people have said it took 2-3 days.
Sometimes they won't tell you if they received it but it was bad quality so check back with them 3 days after faxing if it hasn't been posted.

Is a cover sheet required when faxing the LOR or just the LASC form then the letter?

For anyone else with the same issue I had my prof mail it and it was not posted. Then two months later I have her fax it and it was not posted after 3 weeks. So I emailed LSAC and asked if they received it. The response i got back was simply there was no indication that anything was ever sent to them.... 5 hours later i get a separate email saying they found it and it's posted. Perhaps just emailing them and reminding them that you are paying them to do the simple task of scanning a LOR will get them to wake up.
