Considering there are plenty of international applicants each year, I don't know why you would consider this a potential problem. You're earning credit from the institution in England. I'm finding that my relationship with one of the teachers here is pretty good, and I'm wondering if I would be able to ask him for a LOR (in keeping with the LSDAS rules) before I leave and then send it in when I start my application process. I did a quick scan of this site and the LSAC site and didn't see any specific mention about this situation - forgive me if I missed it.
Normally I wouldn't even consider this, but the truth is I don't have any solid prospects for a good LOR at my home institution due to its very large size and I'm already a junior. I suppose the other option would be to wait an extra year before applying so I could cultivate a relationship during my senior year.
I'm kind of freaking out about this.
