In general, anytime in October is still early. Now it's just SUPER early. You'vet got to remember that TLS is full of overachievers.
If I were you, I'd wait a week just to make sure everything gets there in one piece, but I don't think it matters that much.

That's what I was hoping. I just know that my splitterness tends to put me in an awkward position.

You're right especially for us splitters that earlier is better. But this early in the game, a week shouldn't matter too much
I'm at 164/3.3 but will retake in a week. I'm hoping I end up in the same boat with you!

If you were applying RD it would make sense to submit now and get a little bit ahead of the pile even if you weren't totally complete, but ED has the 15 day turnaround regardless so there is little reason to submit earlier than you go complete.
