Top Law Schools

So one of my recommenders sent my LOR 2 weeks ago tomorrow, and LSAC still hasn't confirmed receipt. This is extremely frustrating because I'm completely done with everything else on my applications and am just waiting for this one letter to submit. Anyone have any experience with this? Is this is a typical delay period?

I had a letter sent by one of my professors on Monday (the 27th) and it is showing up as received today on the LSAC site. Maybe call them?

It took one of mine 10 days to show up and it's been 16 days since my last one was mailed and it still hasn't shown up. If it's not there by the end of the week I'm going to talk to my recommender and have her fax it this time.

I emailed one of my professors three days ago with a long guide for writing my LOR and told him I hoped he'd have it completed in the next four weeks. I'm taking the October LSAT and hope to submit my applications soon after I receive my score at the end of the month. Is it better to ask him to fax it (and risk LSAC not being able to read it) or to ask him if he thinks it can be finished in two or three weeks instead? The last thing I want is to be waiting for two weeks for LSAC to process a letter before I can submit apps...

I had prof send one in on 09/24 and it was processed by 09/28.

And I had a prof send one in on 9/23 and it's still not processed. Maybe it just depends on which LSAC employee gets your letter.

My professor sent one in on 9/20.... nothing yet

I originally intended to apply last cycle and asked 4 profs to write them for me. 2 were sent and processed, however, 2 STILL never got there. My profs were so upset they weren't going through and actually called LSAC and re-faxed and mailed..the whole 9. Never got there...

Still bitter at LSAC..

Is it fine to fax AND mail the LORs? Or would LSAC frown on or be confused by this? I want to take any and all precautions.

This annoys me.

Two of my LORs were sent on or before the 18th...still nothing. I'm wondering if I should have my profs fax them.

Mine was sent on or before the 14th. I'm done waiting and am having her fax it.

weirdly, my transcript was sent on the 16th and processed by the 24. The LORs just seem to be lost.
