Is it possible to get into duke with a 3.5 what LSAT score should I have?
I am trying to get in an accelerated Masters of economics program at my undergrad if not I will be applying to both Macc programs and MS Finance. Would a masters help?

Masters would not particularly help. Based on last year what would help is getting to more like 3.55 instead of 3.5. You aren't going to get declined regardless if you get a 170+, but your chances of waitlist are high unless you can hit 3.55-3.6.
Last year Duke declined 3 people (on LSN) who were 170+, 3.3+, so 170 needs to be your absolute minimum target.

I'd say with a 3.50-3.54 you want a minimum of 173/174 on the lsat to have a solid shot at getting in

According to the LSN graph, the three declined students had 169 LSAT scores, one had a 3.0 GPA while the other two had GPAs below 3.0.
lawschoolpredictor.com shows that a 173 or 174 is needed with a 3.0 GPA.

I'm 3.4/170 and will be EDing to Duke, so I'll let you know in a few months. But if you want to get in RD with a 3.5, shoot for at least a 170-171.

Thanks! Would it be smart to apply to both Duke's ED rounds or if I don't get accepted after first round cut my losses and apply to ED at another school like Georgetown or UVA even though I really really want to go to Duke?? Does anyone know if the applicant pool for the first early decision round at Duke changes that much from its second round?
