Top Law Schools

Okay so I know this should probably be an easy answer, but I want to make sure I'm not going to mess this up

I live off campus at college, but it's not the best neighborhood, so I'd rather not have my law school correspondence going there. Pretty sure people have already been going through our mail as it is. Is it alright for me to put my home address as my present address? Especially since I will be living here less than a year?

If you're talking about on apps, I'd say but your current address as your present address, but make the "start sending my shit to the permanent address" date as the current date.
