Georgetown ED... HELP!

I’m trying to decide if I should apply ED to Georgetown. It’s a reach for me, I have 169/3.4 and solid WE in the U.S. Senate. My hesitation is, what if GWU offers me a substantial amount of money? If I get into Georgetown ED I’ll probably end up paying sticker. Is Georgetown worth it?

With your WE, post law school prospects are brighter than most in any economy. That being said, GULC is probably not worth sticker for 'you' as compared to 'substantial" scholarship dollars from GWU.

What is a substantial scholarship to you? What is the likelihood of GW offering you a substantial scholarship?

Tell me how to get a job in the US Senate. Id take this over law school anyday.

You could always apply to GWU ED and then youd be a shoo in for that Presidents full ride scholarship. The whole purpose of that scholarship being tied to ED is to draw students away from Georgetown. Go for it!

There is no way a 169/3.4 gets into GW ED.

There is no way a 169/3.4 gets into GW ED or GULC ED.

You have a chance at GULC ED PT but not GULC ED.

If your US Senate work experience is as a US Senator, then your chances of ED admission to Georgetown are above average, in my opinion (but the disclosure form may kill any chances of bar admission).
