Lawschoolnumbers, where are you?!?

LSN is down, without forewarning or explanation. Is it gone forever? Was it never there in the first place? Where will I go now to obsessively view the same graphs through an unrealistically optimistic lens?

I'm pretty sure, collectively, no one on TLS knows what this "lawschoolnumbers" you are talking about is.

I doubt they'd be gone forever at this time since they actually bothered to update for the 2010-2011 cycle.

I'll go ahead and put it out there (even though it outs me as a user of xoxo): xoxo and lawclerkaddict are down too. It looks like somebody who operates them all got tired of operating them, or they're just having server problems.

Clearly, all these websites were started by someone who recently graduated in the top 10% from a T6 and now is mowing lawns, thus unable to pay the server fees.

This may or may not be related but Ahmadinejad went missing and there is a big furring convention in Las Vagas.

How'd they get the lawn mowing gig? Connections?

Mowing is a tough gig to land ITE. Most of the lawn companies in my area went through massive layoffs and their 2009 summer class still hasn't started. I'm in a secondary market though, so I don't know how it has been in other areas of the country.

Whatever, dude. Our CSO assures us that there are lots of lawns waiting to be mowed, so many that the financial aid office is giving us loans to buy our own riding mowers. Global warming is real, so lawns in the northern part of the country will surely be more verdant and lush by 2013. I'm pretty sure anyone in the top 25% will at least get a weekend gig.

Did you steal this reasoning from that RC about global warming and plant and agricultural growth? I know it was in the Next 10, but don't want to look for the specific one.

If they were planning on taking down LSN they could have warned people! That is a lot of historical information to go to waste.

WTF? Very uncool. Well, I guess that solves my problem of not being able to verify my account!

I just pulled it out of my ass as a lawn-related parallel to "hiring will be better by 2013 OCI!!!". Am I really thinking like the LSAT now?
