To addendum or not to addendum

My UG curved on a B. Should I write an addendum that shows my low GPA is relatively not as low as it looks? Or is there a better way to show this? Or does it seem whiny and I should just leave it alone?

I wouldn't write an addendum for this. If you know your class rank, you could include it on your resume or elsewhere on your application. Your relative GPA within your UG will also be apparent on your academic summary report, once LSAC processes your transcripts.

Try to resist the temptation to explain. Grade deflation doesn't merit an addendum, and depending on your UG institution, adcomms may already be familiar with its reputation for doing this. Don't stress over it too much -- at this point, there's precious little you can do about your UGPA.
