Where should I apply?

GDub is my "dream" school hands down, no questions asked. However, where else should I apply with a 3.91 GPA and a 162 LSAT and average/normal softs, non-URM??? I care about job prospects, not location. I'll work anywhere, honestly.

Retake the LSAT if you can. That's a stellar GPA. A few more points and you could be looking at t14 schools or $$$ at t30.

Agreed (with above post), but if you must apply and cannot wait, I would suggest that you apply to Fordham, W & M, W & L, UNC, Ohio State, Wisconsin, Iowa, U-Washington, Tulane, Hastings, and a few others. You might still get a few dollars.

what about UVA ED? You're above the GPA median, and they've already taken a few reverse-splitters this cycle. Seems like your best bet at a top school. Otherwise, retake the LSAT.

This may be credited, although 162 feels awfully low. OP, you'll want to check LSN to see if this is plausible.

Speaking as a GW UG, I wonder why GW is your dream school. Have you visited? Do you *really* want to spend 3 years in Foggy Bottom? It's priced like Manhattan but feels like...well, Foggy Bottom. There's literally nothing there save GW and office buildings. Of course, you could live far from campus in DC or NOVA as well. Or, is GW simply just the best school you could envision yourself getting into?

If your answer is the latter, quickly (but carefully) put together a UVA ED packet. Do some research regarding what would attract you to the school and write a compelling Why Virginia. GL.

A quick check of LSN reveals one applicant accepted with a 3.99 and a 161. He was a VA resident, though, which is a huge advantage. There was also a 159 3.9 WLed OOSer and a 156 3.9 accepted, although it appears he was a latino URM.
