Why the hell would you even write this? Graduating early isnt out of the norm. Lots of people do it.
No need to waste your or the schools' time with this addendum. An addendum should only be used for important things such as explaining a low GPA, a low LSAT, a discrepancy between LSAT scores or some extenuating circumstance. Your situation is none of the above.
Good luck!

I don't agree that graduating early is that common, at least at my university. But even if it is, you should use it to your advantage. Mention it in your PS to highlight your work ethic, not as some sort of shortcoming in need of explanation.

Many people can graduate a semester early with a combination of AP credits, summer classes, high credit loads, etc. For example, if you need 120 credits to graduate, you could finish a semester early by taking 16 credits per semester and getting AP credit for 2 classes. Doesn't sound like a situation that needs an addendum.

I have the same situation as you, as i plan on graduating a year earlier than the current four year track. Check the schools application, and if they say we require six semesters of work or something to that effect, then write the explanation.

I graduated in 3 years. It was a non-issue.

I graduated two years early, AND DID write an addendum ONLY because of how my credits appear on my transcript. I talked to my pre-law advisor and she thought an addendum would help clear up any confusion in my particular circumstance. The problem with my transcript was that it lumped my 14 Ap credits and 45 language credits with the 3 credits I took pass/fail. So it looks like I had 62 credits pass/fail. I just wrote a short addendum explaining how I got the AP/language credits and that they weren't pass/fail. I put a bit of a positive spin on it to emphasize how I worked hard to graduate early and that I did it for financial reasons, not a lack of intellectual curiosity.
One semester early isn't that rare, even though it is awesome. As others have said in this column, I would perhaps mention it in your PS if it fits nicely. In your case, it's more of a thing to brag about, but definitely not something that needs to be explained.

Dumb question. Graduated in 3, didn't affect my cycle.

With AP credits, many students enter universities as sophomores & graduate a year early.
