Do you think I will be able to get into law school Fall 2011 if I take the LSAT in February 2011?
How long does it take for the LSAT grade to come in? Will it be too late to enter Law school fall 2011 if I take the February LSAT?
Thanks to all who reply.

Possibly. It depends on the quality of your LSAT and which schools you apply to. However, with the same application, you would have a much better chance waiting until the next application cycle.

A number of lower ranked schools specifically reserve spots for later applicants, as late as the June test! So it depends on your aspirations. Scholly money gets tighter the later in the game you go though.

How long does it usually take for the LSAT grades to be posted once you take the exam? AND do you think I should have all the letters of rec, personal statement, etc ready before I take the LSAT in FEB 2011? (what if I take the Feb 2011 LSAT and decide to apply for law school in Fall 2012, will I have to again get new letters of rec?)

2.5 weeks on average (there's a thread somewhere that has this all listed by test date, once you take the test you'll find more obsessive posts for this kind of info).
If you can have your PS ready and your recs ready I see no reason not to do so. You need to have an LSAC account to send in your transcripts and recs.

Nope. LoRs are like diamonds: they last forever. There's no need to get new ones for a new cycle if you don't want to.jaydeesal wrote:How long does it usually take for the LSAT grades to be posted once you take the exam?
