After requesting a fee waiver from BU last year, I received it no problem.
With enhanced credentials and same lsat score, they said they do not give out merit based fee waivers upon request...
Anyone request and get it?

Thank you for your interest in Boston University School of Law.
We utilize the Candidate Referral Service provided by LSAC to provide merit-based application fee waivers to qualified students. We will begin that process in the upcoming months. Please keep your profile updated and we will notify you if you qualify.

I and some others got the same reply. I have only heard of two people who said they requested one and received it. One was a URM and the other had a 170 LSAT and military experience.

My question is when are they actually going to do their CRS wave? "In the upcoming months" seems like it won't be coming for a while...ugh, come on, BU.

This was their response to me (168/3.7): "Thank you for your interest in Boston University School of Law. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide merit-based fee waivers upon request." Nothing about upcoming months or CRS.

I only saw one person get it upon request on TLS so far.

I got one. I'm international non/trad, maybe that's why?

Hmm that's really interesting...and annoying.

At least they're not discriminating (for the most part) haha
