You're going to have to call your ug institution to find out what is in their records. The department depends on what you did. Are we talking about res life write ups or what?florentine wrote:So all the apps ask if you have ever been a part of a disciplinary action at your college and I was wondering if getting "written up" at your college counts as this? Thanks!

I'd say it probably depends on whether you had charges brought against you formally. Unless you received a summons from your student/judiciary affairs office to respond to formal allegations I would say no, being written up doesn't count. You're not subject to disciplinary action until you actually have a charge or student conduct violation brought against you.

Disclosure is safer than concealment from a long term perspective, in my opinion.
P.S. Just read the particulars of your situation. Consider disclosure since you received a write-up from one person, went before a university official & received punishment.

Yeah, disclose all the way then.
