LSAC GPA vs Undergrad Trouble with the Quarter System

High I attend a school in the University of California System and just submitted my transcript to LSAC, I am trying to figure out if my Education Abroad program, Which Shows up on My Transcript, but is not applicable to GPA was included ( as a side note the Education abroad program is shown as ***Education Abroad Program: Cambridge----**** And is counted as UC (University of California) Transfer Credits. But again is not calculated in my UG GPA.

Additionally i am confused by the transition from quarter units to semester units. ( do you just divide Quarter units by 1.5?)

My UG Transcript says i have completed (210 units-56 AP units-15 UC Transfer (Education Abroad Units) =139 units ( without the EAP 154 with)

My LSAC Summary Says I completed 131.6 -37.5 (AP Credits)=94.1 Semester Hours; which if i multiply by 1.5 gets me 141.15 Quarter Units. So i just have no idea.

Can you guys tell if they calculated the Education Abroad Into it.

Also LSAC GPA" 3.18
UG GPA: 3.244
No classes retaken/withdrawn from.

thanks!

I don't know if this applies in your case but some schools average grades like a B- different than LSAC does.

My school calculated a B- as a 3.0 while the LSAC calculated it as a 2.77 (or something around there). This might be why your GPA is a bit lower.

The back of a transcript from a quarter-system school should give a conversion ratio to change the credits to semester hours. It's going to be different from school to school, and LSAC will take it into account when they do your transcript analysis. I'd give you my example, but it's from a school with an odd quarter credit system, so it probably won't help.

LSAC's policy is to convert quarter grade points and units to semesters by multiplying by 0.67.

Hey for anyone who cares, LSAC just updated my GPA 3-4 months after I wrote them. Adding the Education Abroad stuff which raised my GPA .06 points, so yeah me!

Did they count the grades for the credits you earned past 180 into the gpa? I though lsac only counted grades for "first bachelors degree" earned
