"I took a lot of classes that semester" as an excuse is not a good idea. I would roll my eyes at that and think about how law school would be miserable for that person. I'd say nix it, and just let your GPA stand.

Eskimo is right. This is an excuse and nothing else. Its a very poor one too. The immediate though that comes to mind is "if you couldnt handle taking "a lot of classes" for one semester, how are you going to go through the rigorous workload that a law school semester entails?"

Dont even bother. Schools will notice any little discrepancy and will usually figure it out for themselves. No addendum is necessary. Its a waste of time for them to read, and you dont want to piss them off. Just do well on the LSAT, if you havent done so already, and you'll be fine.

Good luck!

Calla Lily wrote:Thank you guys. If I wrote it, it would be more than just I took a lot of classes; however, I agree with what you said and believe that it wouldn't really help my application, since it is not that my overall GPA is weak.

Thanks! :D
Even if your overall GPA was weak it would still be pointless.
