Anyone have any insight as to what kind of impact/boost being a DI female athlete during UG will have? with a 3.7 GPA..haven't taken LSAT yet. Thanks

Athletics will probably influence your cycle very little. On the bright side, your GPA is solid.

Nice soft. Probably not going to put you into schools your numbers don't qualify for.

It won't. The GPA is going to be quite helpful, though.

Cue the "but being an athlete is so hard" trolls soon.

It is hard, but I know it won't help me either. Nor do I see anyone complain about it.

It is extremely hard to be a D1 athlete and have a 3.7.
I commend you for the accomplishment.
25-30 hours of practice/training/ect. a week plus
being physically drained from your 6am workout in class
does not make things easy, then add in travel and it only gets tougher.
Anyone who says it's easy has obviously never done it!
I think some schools where your numbers are borderline
will really appreciate it (But numbers are obviously very important to).
It definitely shows discipline though.

Good luck!

THANK YOU classygal. You hit the nail on the head with that one. Plus I have a ton of other extracurriculars and honors societies/part time work at the same time as well.

+1. I think this is a very strong soft. At this point though, it really does depend on your LSAT though. After that, I definitely think it makes you a stronger candidate for your reach schools. Good luck.
