LSAC Degree GPA higher than Cumulative GPA - which matters?

As an undergraduate I transferred from one large, private university to another large, private university that's slightly better than the first. My LSAC Degree GPA, i.e., institution 2 GPA, is 3.62, but my Cumulative GPA, i.e., both institutions GPA, is 3.58. Will schools give greater consideration to my Degree GPA because it reflects more recent work and is from a better regarded university? Or should I assume I'm working with a 3.58 from here on out? Or am I just splitting hairs because the difference is negligible? For many of my target schools, the Degree GPA puts me just ahead of the 25th percentile, but the Cumulative GPA puts me below 25th...

Thanks

Cumulative is huge; it's questionable whether degree matters at all.
