Um...(GPA Question)

So the school I go to counts an A+ the same as an A (4.0). But I've heard LSAC gives a 4.33...

So my question is: I have a 3.887 under my school's system. Under LSAC, my GPA is a 4.0...so do law schools view my grades as a 4.0?

If so that makes me very happy.

Yes. Yes they do. (Assuming you've calculated everything correctly -- see, e.g. http://www.lawschoolpredictor.com/wp-co ... ulator.htm)

Enjoy!

3.7, 3.7, 4.0, 4.33, 4.33, 4.33, 3.7, 4.0

I'm actually just gonna be a sophomore next year so I guess I shouldn't be celebrating just yet. But if those are my freshman grades, then I guess I have a 4.0?

Also, 4.0 is the ceiling, right? Like you can't get a higher one?

*sorry if this comes across as bragging...I assure you I'm not, and in fact I expect my GPA to be butchered quite thoroughly in the years to come, thank you very much*

if you have a 4.33 in your GPA, how can 4.0 possibly be the ceiling?

Hm, I thought that a 4.33 could raise your GPA but that once ur GPA gets to a 4.0 thats the cieling.

Cool, thanks guys!
