GPA addendum- how specific?

I took out my actual diagnosis in my PS, so should I explain in detail what kind of cancer I have in my GPA addendum? I feel like if I never mention it, it almost sounds made up? Should I just say " cancerous brain tumor" or should I instead use the medical term: "malignant eppendymoma"? Should I explain exactly what treatments I got, and when, or just make it general: such as, my treatments ceased after my surgery in Feb 2009, and since I have had straight A's which is the best indicator of my potential to perform as a student not burdened by cancer treatments,.. obv not in those exact words, but you get the idea...

I don't see how being super specific could hurt when writing about something unique like this.

yeah I agree that you could skim some of the details if the ps becomes too long, but not so much that the reader gets confused or feels left out of the whole idea.
