Just received my invitation as well. However, I only have a 160 LSAT, so I was pretty shocked to get it, does this mean that I have a decent shot at Duke? My GPA is 3.87, and I'm an AA Male, so that's probably why I got it...

Been hoping for it. Guessing at 3.6x/171, it's not in the cards, but who knows.

While I would be careful equating PT invite to high chance of acceptance, I would definitely say you have a shot. That's a great GPA (congrats btw) and a solid LSAT. definitely send them an application, I know some AA males with 160's that got into Virginia, which is slightly better ranked.

I got it this morning. 3.62 172.
TO: Mr. Sentry, XXXXXXXXX
Dear Mr. Sentry:
I am pleased to learn of your interest in attending law school. We received information about your outstanding academic record from the Law School Admission Council?s Candidate Referral Service. Based on your strong credentials, I invite you to apply to Duke Law School through our Priority Track review process. This program guarantees that a response to your application will be mailed to you within ten days of completing your file.
The Priority Track program allows you to submit your application materials at any time prior to the February 15 deadline. Your application fee will be automatically waived when you submit your application through LSAC; you should not need to enter a code. Upon completion of your file, your application will receive an immediate comprehensive review and you will receive a response within ten days. This is a non-binding program; if you are admitted to Duke, you may freely consider offers of admission from other law schools.
Please note that several elements are required to complete your file, including a Credential Assembly Service (LSDAS) Law School Report, your application form, a resume, a personal statement, and two letters of recommendation.
In order to have your application reviewed through the Priority Track program, please register now.
In the meantime, I invite you to learn more about Duke Law by visiting our website. I hope that receiving a quick response from Duke will be helpful as you navigate your way through the law school admissions process. I look forward to reading your application.
Sincerely,
William J. Hoye
Associate Dean

I got one too! I wasn't really sure I was going to apply there, but now I might as well. Mostly just to take a visit to Carolina.

Curse me and my October LSAT.
I assume one can't do priority track in November (assuming I demolish the LSAT)

Here's what you get when you register:
Thank you for your interest in Duke Law School! We have received your registration for our Priority Track application process. When your application becomes complete it will receive an immediate, comprehensive review and we will mail a response within ten days. The response may be a notification that you have been selected for admission, denied, waitlisted, or held for further review by the Admissions Committee.
Please remember that your application must be complete before we can begin the Priority Track review. A complete file includes your LSDAS Law School Report, two letters of recommendation, your resume, and a personal statement. We will request your LSDAS Law School Report soon after you submit your application, but it generally takes two to three weeks for us to receive the report in the mail from the Law School Admission Council. Your application fee will be waived automatically if you use the LSAC electronic application service; if you submit a paper application please include a copy of your Priority Track invitation letter in lieu of the fee.
We encourage you to begin learning about Duke Law by exploring our website,
http://www.law.duke.edu. However, you will get the best sense of our intellectual and social community by visiting the campus, where you can take a tour, sit in on a class, attend one of the regular talks and conferences, and meet with a member of our admissions staff. Information about arranging a visit can be found here:
http://www.law.duke.edu/admis/visit
We appreciate your interest in Duke Law, and look forward to reviewing your application.

Their median GPA is a lot higher than I expected though

Got one - pm for stats
Also got one last year...working before law school. I'm hoping this is indicative of more fee waivers that I was issued last year coming through again this year...?

Got it as well. Over median GPA, over 75th LSAT. I'll apply PT due to the fee waiver--I hear Duke is generous with scholarships, might be worth a look.
