I was hoping someone would just come out and say it already. It's really annoying the way it is now.

Re: Please remove tls articles from the home page.
I just bookmarked "View active topics"... had to go look at the TLS main page now to see what you guys meant
Maybe it's to promote the articles better? I got to know the forums first, and I remember when a lot of people on here complained about the articles being "hidden" - the links on the top of the page looked too much like google ads for anyone to actually take them seriously. This was before the site was revamped. Don't remember/know what the main page looked like then either, though.........

Credited, but this takes us back to the discussion of a compromise solution and displaying universally relevant articles.kazu wrote:I just bookmarked "View active topics"... had to go look at the TLS main page now to see what you guys meant

Well I think the articles being put first may be a more professional touch than having the response threads first (perhaps good for someone visiting the site for the first time), but like many of the commentators here, I also like having the threads first.

Isn't there enough room for them to be side by side...?

Removing 2-3 articles was not quite the point.Bumi wrote:Compromise!
Now just whack the remaining two LRAP links, flip the order, and call it a deal.

I wake up to find myself thinking the exact same thing. While I think it looks less ridiculous now than it did before, it is still not as good as it could be.DeSimone wrote:Removing 2-3 articles was not quite the point.Bumi wrote:Compromise!

Any joke != good joke, either, apparently. Everyone's a critic.DeSimone wrote:any compromise =/= good compromiseBumi wrote:Exactly! Compromise!Rand M. wrote:While I think it looks less ridiculous now than it did before, it is still not as good as it could be.
