Does anyone know if you can send a Why Essay to UT in addition to your personal statement or does it have to be included in your personal statement??? Thanks

From what I've read, Texas prefers that additional documents like a "Why" essay and DSs be incorporated into the PS. None of their admissions stuff mentions any additional essays or anything like that, so I get the impression that they probably don't want them. I may be wrong though.
