Top Law Schools

does anyone have any info on u of miami and scholarships as well as knowledge of their placement in miami?

i have a GPA around their 60th percentile and an LSAT score of 10+ points over their 75th percentile so i'm guessing about the 99th percentile at U of Miami Law? would this be enough to get a full ride in people's knowledge of past cycles?

my logic is i can go to a t-20, non t-10 school on complete loans or bring my talents to south beach ala LeBron James on a full ride, and have summer all year long plus no income tax after i graduate. i'm also not completely sure what kind of law i want to practice, but am attracted to criminal defense.

Miami doesn't offer many full tuition scholarships, but does offer a lot of grants in the $20,000-$25,000 range.

Thanks for your feedback, but quick question. If this is accurate, then why would somebody with a 170+ go there over Fordham?

Bringing one's talents to South Beach alone is not worth the drop in rankings.

Maybe they prefer one type of climate over another. Two years ago 31% of Miami law students received grants averaging $20,000. One (1%) percent received grants of full tuition & another 1% received grants in excess of full tuition.

Is this per year or total, and how do you find out this info? It's very helpful...

Don't go to Miami with a ~170.
