In another thread, I posted that my girlfriend's school seemed to grade fairly harshly. She just got back her LSAC analysis of her transcript, and it showed the average GPA at her school was 2.94. When I was an undergrad at a moderately prestigeous college (Georgetown), my GPA of 3.01 put me at about the 28th percentile of my class - in other words, the average at Georgetown for my class was well above 3.01.
I'm wondering if others could share the average GPA from their schools (along with the name of the school) to get some perspective on whether 2.94 actually represents a school with a tough grading curve.
