Submitting 4 LORs to LSAC is not the same as submitting 4 to schools. Once uploaded on LSDAS you can individually select what LORs to send to each school (i.e. you can send prof x+prof z to school A but prof y and EC1 to school B)supahstahxruv wrote:Hi all,

2) Is Yale the only T14 school in which applying solidly early (i.e. before Halloween) would NOT significantly improve my chances?

Pretty much. Maybe S too, because they're much more holistic and take more time evaluating applications (just guessing there though), but everywhere else I think it's safe to assume that applying before Halloween is the best play.supahstahxruv wrote:Hi all,

hm, i was under the impression that there are schools that require a dean's letter/certification that indicate the student is in good standing, etc etc etc? apparently they write a letter to go along with this form.Well...no....unless you've done something(you got into academic probation or you got into trouble at school) that requires you have a dean's letter?also, I think that the advisor rec is used in place of the dean's letter, so it'll be something that I'll have to include.
