B.Web wrote:Quick Question...the median gpa's listed for schools, are those school gpa's or the lsac gpa conversions....

There is a great deal of difference between my Lsac gpa and my school gpa due to 2 C's I got (One fall semester freshman year),
and one while playing in a competitive collegiate summer league (baseball)

Do you think school's would take those excuses into account...and is playing college baseball a soft?

Thanks, this site is great!

They use LSAC.

It's a decent soft, won't change your cycle though. What position?

School look at the LSAC cumulative GPA, that's what the ranking are based on.

Playing baseball is a soft, but it's not going to help anything.

Thanks for the quick reply Fox, Left Handed Pitcher....damn thought they would take that more into consideration since it's the equivalent of having two full time jobs.

Looks like I'll take this year to really boost my GPA then :/

Yea they are brutal. LSAT makes up for it too, so really rock that LSAT.

Thanks again for the advice, will do. I was reviewing off and on for the past 3 months not sure when to really start picking up the full on preparation, since I don't know when my cycle will be (depending on if baseball continues or not)...

May I ask to what method of studying did you employ (Pithypike's etc.?) Have the Bibles but they seem almost too simple, not sure if that is the point however.

Try and get as many real past LSATs as you can. Doing as many of these as possible I think is crucial in hardcore/really successful studying
