Legacy?

how much does being a legacy help? I ask because I have legacy at Columbia.

Sorry, but your original post doesn't allow for a very clear answer. Legacy status is another soft factor, and will undoubtedly help an applicant. However, different schools weigh legacy status differently. Also, one can infer that an applicant with a parent who donates a lot of money to the law school directly/has a building named after him or her/etc. will receive a larger boost than an applicant who had a parent who attended the same university (not the law school) and doesn't donate at all.Kswizzie wrote:any answers that don't poop on me?
