College fails to keep records?

The summer before I went to high school, I took a word processing class at a community college because my Mom's Boyfriend's wife (yes) was teaching it. I got an A, and it was applied to High School credit. I never transfered the course to my first real community college though, since the advisor told me that it wouldn't transfer there.
Since I've been regaled with horror stories of what might happen due to undisclosed transcripts with the bar, I decided to try and get a transcript from them sent to LSAC. I don't remember having an ID number with them, and some weird paperwork had to be filed just to allow someone so young into the class. I called them, and they said they have no record of my existence.
So, what should I do? Keep digging at the college until they find me (I assume they would), or let it go?

You sure took the long route to earn that A

Keep calling, they have a record somewhere. Also talk to your high school and ask if they have a record. They may be able to send it to LSAC. It will help just a little bit so you want the grade and you earned it. If high school can't call LSAC and see what they say to do.

For those on the edge of your seats, I called them again, they said they were sorry, then they called me an hour later to tell me they found my records.
So...success. I hope I never have to ask for a transcript from that school again.

good to hear it worked out
the bar wouldn't really care anyway- those horror stories are typically BS
