Yeah thanks for reposting. I never go on that site because it is even more cynical and bitter than this one. It's too much for my little 0L brain to handle. I am glad I read this though.

LoL I love how the shilling me softly blog derides TLSers for asking for relevant information before accepting what someone is saying.

That thread is absolutely terrific. Disco_Barred commands you to read it. It is honest and extraordinarily accurate.

You probably would be too if you had no job prospects and 200k debt.

And its not like people on TLS aren't weird/crazy.

That being said, there is certainly a lot more diversity of opinion on this site which makes it about 10000000000x more credible.

No I get that their are weird people here too. I was talking about the scambloggers who put mad work/time into their preaching

It makes more sense when you realize that the reason they have so much time is the same reason they are writing the blogs in the first place-they are unemployed.

Hearing him basically say he wouldn't really recommend the gamble of law school outside of YHS? Don't really want to end up crushed by debt.
Yeah his "would you do it again" answer is uncool, but there are some interesting/not scary pieces of advice in the thread

Not necessarily "uncool"--it seems to just be his honest opinion. I read the rest of it, yes. It's a good thread, it's just scary to hear that from someone with more credibility than the typical scamblogger.
Yeah, this is def true.

But this thread is like a freaking success story on this forum. Def do not read any other jdu threads if this one scares you lol

Yeah, that is what he said. And yeah, he didn't seem to be working thatt many hours. But he also said he wasn't trying to make partner, so he didn't have to go nuts with billables and what not
