The most important thing I learned this cycle

I've had the pleasure/pain(?) of applying this year to law school. Ultimately, I decided not to go and I am re-taking the LSAT in October. However, I think I could provide some advice/guidance to future law applicants about how to best save their time and money.
Please note that some of the people I work with at my firm also applied to law school this year and so I am combining their experience with mine.
This has been repeated ad nauseum but it is TRUE.
The most important part of your application is the following:
1)LSAT SCORE >>>>2)GPA>>3)URM>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>4)(Military Service/Rhodes Scholar/Fulbright/Peace Corps/Teach for America).
If you do not have the numbers to get into a T-14 school, do not waste your $$ on essay services. Your personal statement won't make a difference. It will be strictly a numbers game.
Do not worry too much about recommendations. They will not make a difference.
The most important thing you can do to help your application is to get a high LSAT score. No one cares that you helped homeless kids in the ghetto. (Well at least no one on the law school admission's board).

The other thing I forgot to mention is that a lot of schools treat their 25% as their 1st%. For example, Boston University's LSAT 25% score is 164, which usually means that there are some scores lower than that number and some higher, but in reality what it means is that the lowest score you can have to make it into BU, and not being a URM, is a 164.
