Top Law Schools

Hi all,

I'm considering visiting some T14 schools this summer to get a feel for the neighborhoods. I know that classes are not in session for the summer, but the opportunity still exists to meet with admissions officers at some schools.

Do you recommend this? Assuming the answer is yes...what should I expect? How prepared do I have to be for certain questions?

Any suggestions or previous experiences would be very helpful.

I would recommend it nor would I recommend against it. If you know you'll make a good impression and you have questions about the school, then it's fine to meet with the admissions officers. If you think you're going to make a fool of yourself or you don't really have anything relevant to talk about, then don't waste their time. It's not going to help your chances of getting in, but it might be a good way to show your interest in a school (i.e. in a Why Penn essay, you can mention your conversation with the adcomm officer)

I'm interested in this as well. Some people talk about having good experiences meeting with adcomms, but I always wonder what they said.
