Fordham full time vs. Cardozo part time? (no financial aid) Is it better to be in the top 5-10% at Cardozo or top 25% at Fordham?

It depends on your career goals but the vast majority of the time >>> Fordham

Undecided as to career goals, thinking more along the lines of public service law (not the corporate law path) but still open. I know Fordham is around number 30 and Cardozo is 51 in the rankings, but that being said, do employers from both NY and outside of NY really regard Fordham much more highly than Cardozo?

Um... Fordham. This isn't difficult at all.

Yes. And full time > part time.

There aren't a whole lot of employers outside NY looking at Fordham and Cardozo but Fordham will pretty much always outplace Cardozo. And TCR is to attend the school that will give you the most opportunity and in NY if you can't do Columbia or NYU you do Fordham. And like another poster said, fulltime is usually a better choice than part time.

OP, I was a part time student at Fordham this past year... we are ranked with the full time students. I had the "opposite" choice to make, and I picked Fordham PT over Cardozo FT. I'm happy to have done so. (And yes, IMO top 25% at Fordham > top 5-10% at Cardozo, though ITE we don't know where the biglaw cutoff is going to fall. Before the crash both hypothetical students would likely have been fine.)
