You'll be hurt far less by your softs than by your propensity to use douchy internet slang like "plz".roranoa wrote:Ok, I know they say it's all a numbers game but
I'm sure that's not absolutely true if you have almost nonexistent softs.
I have a 3.8 GPA and a 175 on my June LSAT (that's right!!)
But my softs......oh my softs .........
I've done 2 yrs of govt. work (working as an assistant at a ministry)
and VP at a debate club and was in the school orchestra.....
and that's it.....
i haven't been able to get anything to do for the summer yet cuz I was sick and in the hospital....(nevermind that)
How much do you think those softs would hurt me for my chances at
Harvard?
Plz give me some insight......

You're talking about applying to Harvard Law School. It's time to start typing like a big boy.roranoa wrote:what's wrong with "plz"? I've never ever been criticized for this before...
You don't know where you are, do you? Did you mistakenly wander in from a misleading google link?Ty Webb wrote:You're talking about applying to Harvard Law School. It's time to start typing like a big boy.roranoa wrote:what's wrong with "plz"? I've never ever been criticized for this before...
And enough with the goddamn extended ellipses..........

I don't get this one.....can you update your resume even after you submitted? ( I guess, before it's completed though right?)sumus romani wrote:I don't understand this "I don't have softs" talk at this time of year. Look, even if you submit your application early (say, end of Oct.), you still have four months to spend developing softs. Get off the internets and go help an old lady cross the street. No seriously, go do something substantial.
Does this mean my softs won't hurt me?MURPH wrote:your lack of awesomeness will keep you out of yale. otherwise no one cares about your softs.
plz understand that we were defending you against noob Ty Webb.roranoa wrote:something has really gone wrong with this thread.....
I sincerely apologize for writing "plz" instead of "please".....
Would anyone give me some real insight into this question...Please
Wait - I thought the holy trilogy was Lord of The Rings?!gwuorbust wrote:but on point, softs don't matter. enjoy getting into one of the holy trilogy (HYS).
