Where would you apply with my numbers

I have a 3.1 GPA with a 159 lsat score. I am going to be retesting in october to hopefully bring it into the 160s but if my numbers stay the same after I graduate this year, where would you apply considering I want to work on the east coast. Big law if possible. Also, should I apply earlier or try to improve my GPA by a .1 first semester and then apply during winter break?

Well if it was me I would hold off on LS until I score at least 162+

And where exactly on the east coast? South, FL, New York, New England?
Seton Hall might be a school for consideration, or Brooklyn law school if you can pull up the LSAT

If your numbers stay the same, don't apply to law school. You aren't getting BigLaw from Seton Hall or similar.

It's possible to get a "biglaw" job from Seton Hall, Brooklyn, and similar schools, as around 5-10% or so do.

However, I agree that if one's goal is simply to slave away at a firm, just for the money, then the gamble isn't worth full tuition at all.
