How much money do you have?
How many schools in the region you want to go to?
Do you qualify for fee waivers?
I applied to 10 schools, 7 considers and 3 strong considers/admits. No reaches, because I wanted money. I didn't apply to UT because I couldn't afford $75 for an app fee. So these things matter.
