How do part-time programs affect job placement after graduation?

Does this hold true for Cardozo's PT program as it is so unique and not really a part-time program?

Finally, does Cardozo january entry use the PT figures when evaluating applicants?

Depends on the program and the type of employer. Some employers do not like it when students go part-time and then do nothing else during the day.

If you mean one of those programs where you start off PT and then switch to FT after first semester, it probably doesn't matter if you are comparing the "PT" to the FT students at the same school. FWIW, Cardozo's placement is pretty crappy to begin with and I would take their employment/salary stats with a grain of salt.

USNews started counting PT numbers in the rankings, so the days of trying to "hide" applicants with lower numbers in PT programs and fake PT "day" programs are basically over.

I didn't know Cardozo's placement was pretty crappy... from what I've read it has been positive... can I ask how you know this? Do you have a friend in the program?

I'll be one of those PT "day" program attendees for 1L. This is due to applying for PT before changing my mind and wanting to go FT. I'll be switching to FT after 1L, so that should make up for my mistake.

I think there may still be a slight stigma to PT programs which can be overcome by quality work experience.

has anyone else heard bad things about Cardozo?

Cardozo goes part time for three semesters and then you are a full time student... so I'm curious to find out if this is even evident to employers

Once you pass the bar exam, nobody really cares PT or FT

that is good to know!

I am a grad from Boston College... 3.755 GPA - taking LSAT in a week, but scoring 158 - 164, with my average 161

I would love candid opinions on Cardozo, especially the PT program as if I bomb the test I would still be in their range

Just trying to prepare for worst case scenario
