I know we've got a few military folks that roam the TLS boards, so I just wanted to say thank you for your service. You guys and gals make a tremendous sacrifice for the rest of us, and your hard work is greatly appreciated. Have a great Memorial Day with all your friends and family!

Thanks for the sentiment. This is my first memorial day after the lost of someone i served with and I for one appreciate it when others recognize the meaning of the day as more than just a three day weekend. Thank you.
P.S. Happy may not be the best adjective for the holiday greeting due to the nature of the day. I have never really found a good greeting for the day though, and i know that people mean well when they say it. It just seems off to me somehow.
