Can you defer than retake LSAT and reapply if you do better?

Here is the boat I am in now:

Took the LSAT and GMAT last summer and scored in the top 25% on GMAT but in the top 50% on the LSAT. I only had three weeks to study for the LSAT and I only took three pratice test so I want to reatke it since I know I can do better. I have decided that I am going to start my MBA this fall. Here is where i need help though.

Would it look bad if I defer my acceptance into law school, retake the LSAT, and if I do better cancel my deferment and reaaply for the fall semester. The whole point of this is to try to gain some $$. I really believe I can score higher on my LSAT but I am not sure if I do not want to pass on my acceptance incase for some reason I bomb the LSAT....

Thanks,

Doug

You would really have to talk to the school about this situation. When you defer, you essentially tell the school to save me a spot for next years class. It will depend on the school.
