I share your feeling about not writing a diversity statement in your situation.
That's not to say white guys can't write them. But they need to be old, or gay, or poor, or Amish, or something else that contributes to the diversity of the class. Having taken foreign languages in college doesn't sound like the basis for a strong diversity essay.
