Top Law Schools

Is anyone still waiting on Temple? I went complete back in March but still have no response. I already sent my seat deposit to another school, but was just wondering if anyone is still waiting like me. I'm guessing this is a bad sign, I'd just like to know either way.

On a side note - One of my co-workers last year was in the same boat, and she claims that they never made a decision. I am fairly certain she was rejected, I mean how is that possible?

I've heard of people never getting a decision. Cornell and NYU both come to mind.

I got my rejection to Temple via status checker this morning. Not unexpected at all.

Called admissions and they said 8-12 weeks from "complete date" and that they expect a decision in my case in 4 weeks time. I'm not holding my breath.

100% true. Temple is known for admitting a huuuge amount of black students just because they're black.

3 of my friends all below 158 got into Temple who were black. And 5 (including myself) did not get in when all but 1 were above a 160. Also LSN will show you this trend.

Nah I am caucasian. I applied to the Evening Division specifically, but do not believe I will get in (late apply, stats are not stellar) Somewhat decent softs. Like I said I already sent a seat deposit to one program but was waiting on Temple. The wait and drama continues!

What are you numbers like? how late did you apply? (hate to say it but if you're white you need stellar stats to get into Temple- it suuucks)

Apparently this year their PT program is no easier to get in than their full time. (and if it is it's miniscule) I even applied through their S.p.A.C.E. program and their PT as well as FT...didn't make a shit of difference. It was my number 1 too...seeing as how it's like 14k a year and I could have even commuted if I wanted to. I get angry just thinking about it.

Judging from your rant, it's better that you didn't get in. You would not fit in in Philly or at Temple.

Judging from your rant, it's better that you didn't get in. You would not fit in in Philly or at Temple.

I've lived in Philly my entire life and the majority of my family went through Temple.

Not fit in? lol. I have the right to be annoyed that I didn't get into a law school because of my skin color.

Update: Checked Status Checker again..Original went complete on 3/24/2010, now it says complete again as of 5/05/2010..Anyone else experience the same issue? I'm not sure what this means. Still crossing my fingers, but I still not very hopeful..

According to the Temple forum in the admit section, their status checker doesn't switch to "Under Review," you just go complete again. So usually people hear a decision within a week or two after the second complete. (But that was also back in like February, and I haven't been on the other thread in a while, so I'm not sure if the timeline's changed.)
